Your cottages choices at Mettaford are:
Buzzard: fantastic for a couple, 'three views, one comfy place': a 'favourite' with our regular guests.
Heron: sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms (double, twin & bunk): fantastic for extended families. Straight onto your own garden space.
Cormorant: ideal for 2 couples, or the quintissential cottage for a family of 4.
Curlew: beamed bedrooms for 4, in a quiet garden edged with flowers.
Puffin: for families with smaller kids, is great for 4 or an alternative to Buzzard for 2 people.
Kingfisher: 'up-side down' cottage sleeping 4, with a light and airy living space + views of the gardens & beyond.
Kestrel: an 'up & down' cottage that's the alternative for a family of 4, or 5: there's room, whatever your family's size.
Mallard: 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage sleeping 5: with a south facing garden.

Beds are made up for your arrival, and altho' we don't supply towels, we offer them for rental for a small fee of £2 pppw. All cottages are fully heated, power is included and the cottages are warm for your arrival.
Our effort goes into making Mettaford a relaxing base for your holiday: we can always find the way to ensure Mettaford is the right choice for your family holiday.
Hartland village is 1.5 miles and Clovelly is 2.5 miles. We are close to the South West Coast Path between Bude and Bideford. There are excellent Blue Flag beaches and Life-guarded surfing, body boarding & surf canoeing locations around the coast (20 mins drive). .
